Youda Sushi Chef

Youda Sushi Chef

Youda Sushi Chef

Youda Sushi Chef

Build your own sushi restaurant emporium and become the real sushi chef! Use your sharp memory to quickly prepare dishes and serve them to the right customers! buy upgrades to serve customers faster, make combo’s or serve some take-away meals to earn extra money. To keep your customers happy you can decorate your restaurants, perform great knife tricks or serve some sake while your customers are waiting. Consisting of six beautifully designed restaurants, a great choice of different sushi recipes, lots of bonuses, combo’s and upgrades, Youda Sushi Chef will keep your mouth watering for hours.

  • 6 restaurants with your own made up names
  • Options to decorate your restaurant
  • Take-away meals and group reservations
  • Lots of combos and upgrades

Youda Sushi Chef is a fun time management game where you work as a Sushi Chef rolling mouth watering sushi dishes to serve to your customers. This game relies a lot on your memory skills, so do be prepared to start memorizing every sushi dish to save the hassle of going through your recipe book.  At the start of the game you can choose between “very easy” and “normal” game play modes and you can even switch your preferred game language from English (US or UK), Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Before the game starts, you have to give a name for your first restaurant. Name the restaurant in whatever your preference is and you’re ready to start your first day as a Sushi Chef! You have a daily target to meet before you can proceed to the next day so keep your customers happy by serving them the right sushi as fast as possible. It’s pretty easy to get a hang on how things work on the first day as you only have 3 ingredients to work on and there are only 3 dishes available. Made a mistake and the sushi turns out into a brown blob? No worries, it doesn’t affect your reputation and your customers would not even feel it’s presence so all you have to do is to click it to remove it when it appear in the lane next to your knife to avoid the blob taking up space on the conveyor belt.

While you are busy serving up sushi to your customers, remember to keep a watch on the stock level of your ingredients. As you can only maintain up to a certain quantity, do try to restock as often as possible keep your operation running smoothly. But if you are nearing the end of the level, do try to make an estimate and only restock the ingredients you think that you will need for the last few customers in order to save the cash for your daily target or for purchasing upgrades.

You can earn extra cash by completing take away orders and reservations. You can choose whether or not if you want to accept the take away orders or reservations. Accepting reservations increases your reputation but it will decrease your reputation if you fail to deliver. I will prefer to accept take away orders instead of reservations as I find dragging the reservations signs to the sits are a little too time consuming.

Even though I find the game slightly repetitive but overall it was still pretty addictive. With six beautifully designed restaurants to complete, each with 7 days or levels, lots of delicious looking sushi and interesting upgrades, Youda Sushi Chef really stands out from restaurant theme of time management games.

Rating: ★★★★☆

PC Games – Aveyond – Lord of Twilight

PC Games – Aveyond – Lord of Twilight

PC Games - Aveyond - Lord of Twilight

Solve dozens of adventure puzzles and explore an enchanting world! Aveyond: Lord of Twilight is packed with monsters, magic, and humor. Stop an evil vampire lord from plunging the world into darkness and enslaving humanity. Explore lush tropical forests, arid deserts, mystical woodlands and more. Soar to dizzying heights and descend to the depths of the Underworld in this awesome RPG adventure!

  • Solve dozens of quests
  • Choose your difficulty level
  • Explore dozens of lands
  • Raise pets and collects eggs

I still remembered playing the very first sequel of the Aveyond series around three years ago when it first started and I was totally hooked on it. In fact, I even took leave for the next day as I really wanted to complete the game asap without losing sleep and concentration over it. But of course the game was longer than what I expected so I took about a week to finish it. So after playing the first sequel to it, I did keep my loyalty on the second and of course the third sequel that was just been released – Aveyond – Lord of Twilight.

For those who have already played the first and second sequel, you probably know what to expect and most likely is already playing the game like I am right now. Aveyond – Lord of Twilight is basically a strategy and RPG game where you get to explore through different lands to level up and completing quests.  A nice feature to this game is that you can choose your difficulty level easy, normal and expert modes of play. You can either jump head-on into the game or you can opt for a tutorial if you need help. No worries if you’re afraid you might forget which tasks you are on when you start the game the next day as they do have a journal to keep you reminded on the outstanding tasks.

Overall I would say that the graphics of this game are really nice and cute with interesting characters and quests. If you like games with a hint of adventure and fantasy in an RPG game, do not miss this game out as this game is really addictive, it’s really hard to put it down when you have started. As for now, I’m suppressing the urge to stop working on the post and to play the game instead which is true as this post was a little late as I couldn’t stop playing the game. So please remember to complete any chores or homework you have before you start the game!

PC Games – Virtual Families

PC Games - Virtual Families

PC Games - Virtual Families

From the developer of the smash-hit Virtual Villagers series comes the new casual game that captures the drama of life: Virtual Families! Care for your own virtual family in real time! Adopt and nurture your first member, help them meet a mate and start a family in this casual simulation game. Pass on the house as your family members grow up for generations of fun!

  • Thousands of combinations for adoptees
  • Nurture your members personalities through praising and scolding
  • Over 100 trophies
  • Hidden puzzles, unpredictable occurrences, weather, and day/night cycles synched to your clock

Love Virtual Villagers and its sequels? Well… You will be glad to know that they have come out with a new game – Virtual Families! You get to adopt a character to move into your home, manage their lifestyles, find the perfect partner for them and help them expand their families. You can even buy upgrades and improvements for their home to make it a perfect living space for them!

I do like the numerous trophies you can collect once you accomplish certain goals and of course also the collection of items that you can find around the house.  But other than that I do find the time passes too slowly especially when you want to have more children in the house, you got to wait until the last child is around 4-5 yrs old before you can have another child. (Which is around 4-5 hrs?) Was pretty fascinated with the game at first but because I prefer games with faster pace, sometimes I find it a little boring that I have to get in the game just to make sure they have enough food every day.

Overall I find the game a little boring as I don’t really like the idea of sitting around just to wait for the time to be passed or for the kids to grow up. And with only 2 working adults in the family, I find getting cash for upgrades is pretty slow. It probably takes few generations or more if you want to fully upgrade your home. But since I already got the game, it won’t hurt for me to keep it and try to see what really happens in the end.
