My Game Review:

As always I will never miss out any of the time management games from Delicious series so here I am and finally manage to complete the game after trying to find time to play Delicious - Emilys Holiday Season for the past few days. Emily is back again with a holiday sequel and a very interesting storyline in Delicious - Emily’s Holiday Season. Besides seeing her long-time friend Francois, you get to meet up with her family members, characters from Delicious - Emily’s Taste of Fame and a few new faces.

If you have played any of the past sequels, you should be really familiar with the gameplay by now since there aren’t any great changes to it. Other than the beautiful Christmas theme and graphics, the gameplay is almost the same. But because of the funny and interesting storyline, it does really add a fresh new feel to it.

There are a total of 5 different Restaurant locations and you can also choose your preferred level of difficulty. You will still do all your basic stuff like attending to walk-in guests or dine-in guests by preparing their food, serving them and clearing of tables. You can also buy decorations to which is available to boost your character or to increase your guest’s patience level.

For every start of a level other than completing the basic target of amount, you will also have additional tasks that you can try to complete for a cash bonus. If you like to aim for an expert rating at the end of every level, do try to complete the additional tasks as the cash bonus really helps and also not forgetting to click the mouse for extra cash boost that pops up in every level.

Overall I find the game pretty nice and has a really interesting storyline which it really does catch my attention, especially you get to decide on Emily’s fate which feels as if you are directing a love movie. A little disappointed perhaps on having the same gameplay but then again I really do love the storyline!

Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers

Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers

Clean-up with CleanClaw, a 1 man eco-friendly crane that picks up even the heaviest bit of garbage.

  • 20+ rescue sites all over the world

  • Compete for best Quest and Cleandex scores

Download and play Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers here (Windows)

If you have played Gold Miner - Vegas and do enjoy such games, you might wish to try out Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers. It has the same type of gameplay except that instead of picking up gold or valuables, you are going to pick up junk from the river or lake bottom.

The graphics are a little blue and gloomy but well… it is junk we are talking about so you don’t really expect them to be really pretty and colorful right? With about 24 levels which I felt it was pretty short but definitely this game is more to an educational side instead of entertainment.

For every mission, you have a primary objective and secondary objective available for you to complete the game. Every mission has different objectives so make sure you clear the objectives first before cleaning up the whole river cos the next mission will only be unlocked if you have met the objectives to the game.Picking up the gold items earns you extra cash so do remember to pick them up for a money boost.

You can choose to purchase additional upgrades to help you out in each level to give you extra bonus or benefits to the game. These upgrades only last for the level and if you decide to restart the level after playing it halfway, your money spent on the upgrade won’t be refunded so do make sure you have earn at least what you spent before restarting the mission.

A Cleandex is available for you to browse through all the junk you have picked up, it provides a pretty neat information on the junk you have collected and it is where I would say it is really educational. It lets you know what are the facts and effects on every junk you have cleared from the river. It’s a little summarized but it still gets the message across.

Overall, this game is pretty short at 20+ levels which can be easily cleared in less than 3 hours. Even though there are different objectives in each mission level, it tends to be a little repetitive. But because this game was created to spread awareness and it’s education, I will still give my full support to it. I do hope there will be more of such educational games in the future. After all, environmental issues are everyone’s issues.

Well… It has been quite a while and I haven’t had the time to sit down and play a game thoroughly. After going through a long list of available games under cutecutegames resources, I decided to play a Match 3 game in order to get my brain started on playing games again. Initially I thought that Match 3 games are supposed to be pretty easy and should be able to finish it within few hours or a day or so. In fact this game actually took me 3 days to complete it in “Perfect Expert Score” for every level and I’m really exhausted. (Of course, I’m happy too! :) )

Sally’s Quick Clips is a fast paced Match 3 game with 60 levels and 10 different salons/venues that you have to make matches to gather the different resources to attend to your customers needs. For those who have played Sally’s Salon or Sally’s Spa before, you will notice that the gameplay this time really differs a lot from its original gameplay. As you can see, it is more of a Match 3 game instead of just Time Management and I would say it’s not easy as this time you need to concentrate on both things at the same time while the clock is ticking away.

Like all Match 3 games are, all you have to do is to swap the tiles to make matches of 3 or above to get enough matches of a certain service to earn a service chip which you can use it on your customer. It’s pretty straight forward so all you have to do is to make sure you have the certain service in stock before you can service your customer. Just like Sally’s Salon, certain service requires you to play a mini game of finding the preferred style for your customer. Just click left or right through the styles available until you find the style that will bring a smile on your customer’s face. They do have very nice and fancy names for different styles but you probably won’t have the time to take notice of that as the game progresses.

To complete the level, you need to earn the targeted amount of hearts before the day ends. In order to do that, you have to serve each customer in time and make sure they leave the place happy. If you are fast enough, you can even aim to complete the level in expert score. And if all of your customers left the salon with full hearts while getting the expert score, you will complete the level in “Perfect Expert Score” which the icon is represented with a heart on a star. It’s pretty easy to get it for the first few venues of the game but you probably have to replay it a number of times when you get to the middle of the game where the gap for the number of hearts between targeted score and expert is pretty wide. Especially those you need an additional of 4-5 customers.

As usual there will be power-ups to help you out in each level and these are really very important in the game as the game progresses. You will find yourself using them more often as you raced against the time and you better get used to using them as often as possible to help you out in the game.

You can also purchase additional upgrades in between level to help you out in the gameplay. For the first few basic upgrades are easily affordable but as you progress through the game, you will find that it’s not easy to earn that much to buy an upgrade each time but this also depends on which upgrades you decide to get first.

There will be 6 levels for every venue. At the end of the 5th level, you get to compete in the Style-Off Challenge. You have to compete against a computer player by racing to make matches of a certain service as fast as possible in order to serve your clients. If you managed to fill up your gauge before the computer player, you will earn a hairstyle trophy for your signature style. I find it rather easy for most of the challenges except for the last 2 stages where the computer player does not even pause between matches like the rest do. So I do find myself making more random matches in order to get the correct service matches as I really didn’t have the time to think.

Overall, I find Sallys Quick Clips pretty entertaining and I do really like the colorful graphics. Although the background music is pretty nice and they do have many nice fanciful names for every style but because the game is really fast paced and you need to concentrate on too many things at one time, I really didn’t have the time to pay attention to it. What I didn’t really like about the game was the steep jump of the difficulty halfway through the game and because this game really takes up a lot of your concentration, it’s pretty difficult to play it through without resting. A rather nice game that I would recommend for gamers who love fast paced games.

Facebook Games - Sea Star Scramble

Sea Star Scramble is a thrilling, action packed word puzzle game! You are Asterisk, a sea star whose challenge is to form words by popping scrambled, letter bubbles, in the correct order, before they reach the water surface. Misspelled or incorrect words cause the water level to drop, threatening Asterisk’s aquarium habitat. Consistently correctly formed words, the larger the better, take Asterisk on an adventure through deeper darker waters.

The following review/comments is by Nicole:

Sea Star Scramble is a cute, cute word game staring an adorable Sea Star who loves to play with bubbles. Helping sea star to make lots of correct words sends the little one on a watery adventure :) Incorrect words are potentially fatal for the little fishy :(

I love the drama and intensity of this game. I learn a lot of new, big words from it and the controls are easy. Plus it’s so cute! Much more fun than most word games.

From Japan to Barcelona, racks full of vibrant clothes and lifelike new male and female models await in Jojo’s Fashion Show: World Tour. Mother and daughter designers, Jojo and Rosalind Cruz, have finally earned a name in the fashion world. Now Ros is leaving the nest to pursue her own dreams and Jojo must find a reliable replacement. As backstage drama unravels, Jojo quickly discovers that fair-weather friends and ruthless enemies are closer than she ever suspected.

Have you guess it? Yup, this is the very game which I have been thinking of it and even dreaming of it when I heard that the game is going to be launched soon. I have been a real great fan of Jojo’s Fashion Show from the day it came out with the first, the second and even on NDS. I never failed to play any of them and in fact sometimes I even play more than once since this was the best series of Fashion time management game that was ever released. Because I have another paper on Thursday, I can only afford to play the first city tour or an hour (depending which gives me a longer playtime! Hahaha!) of the game and as usual I was not disappointed!

This time round in Jojo’s Fashion Show - World Tour, the models are more realistic and much more stylish looking. Even the whole feel of the game has brought to an even higher level of fashion and style which gives a really professional look! I must say I’m really impressed by the game! Although the scoring part is a little naggy and time consuming, thankfully you can click to skip it and go straight to the points instead.

Jojo's Fashion Show World Tour screenshot 2

Jojo's Fashion Show World Tour screenshot 2

Their main cool addition to the game is that you get to create a new outfit for each style in the game. You get to create a top, a bottom and a pair of footwear where you can choose the colors and the patterns for it. It also provides you a list of attributes you have to fulfill to help you score higher for the new clothing. Neat, isn’t it?

One cool improvement which I do like very much in Jojo’s Fashion Show - World Tour is that you can actually click at the glass display of 3 outfits to have a larger view in order to earn “Signature Outfit” bonus points. And best of all, it actually blinks or highlight when you have gotten the correct combination for every item you pick up. This way really saves lots of time and you no longer have to stress your eyes to find the correct piece.

Overall… I find the game really, really great and I love it very much. It’s definitely a recommended game for Time Management game lovers.

PC Games - Sprouts Adventure

PC Games - Sprouts Adventure

Oh Great One! Only a few Sprouts remain and they are in need of your help! Use your powers to guide them in returning to their once peaceful and prosperous existence. Fulfill wishes, help them invent wonderful toys to play with and assist them in rebuilding their amazing land! The happier you can keep your Sprouts, the more productive their community will be! Become the deity you always dreamed you could be in Sprouts Adventure!

  • Be The Deity You Always Dreamed Of!
  • Earn Karma To Unlock Spells!
  • 11 Structures To Complete!
  • A Dozen Sprouts To Love And Care For!

What are Sprouts, you ask?  Sprouts are curious creatures who have lived a very long time on the Mushroom Cliffs. They have quite the spark and one thing is for sure, they need your help!

Oh that is really wonderful, I have been waiting for this game like for ages. If you like simulation games like Virtual Villagers, do not miss Sprouts Adventure as you get to care and control for really cute creatures known as Sprouts. Just like most simulation games, your basic goal is to make sure they have enough food, work and play. You can also collect little objects like butterflies and stones to add in your collection.

One of the few interesting features is that you have the ability to cast spells. You can cast spells to help your Sprouts out in farming or to warm an egg. I particularly love to cast the Rainbow spell as I love hearing the Sprouts going “Wow!” This time you do not have to worry if you left Sprouts Adventure for too long. Unlike most simulation games, Sprouts Adventure does not run when you’re not playing it so the time will stop exactly where you have left them. Of course, the bad thing to it is that you still have to oversee and wait for the building construction to finish.

Overall I really like this game very much with it’s cute graphics and it feels really interactive. Highly recommended for gamers who like to play simulation games as much as I do! Try playing for an hour and you will not be able to abandon your Sprouts! Hugs and Kisses to the Reflexive Team for creating such a cute game!
