Puzzle 1
- Drop an adult on the fish skeleton and they will use the bones to make cutting tools.
Puzzle 2
- Look at the water flowing around the tree, it is flowing down a hole instead of flowing to the rest of the stream.
- Find a villager who is both an adept builder and an adept scientist, and drop him/her on the stone that is located at the base of the cliff (where a waterfall used to be)
- Your villager will plug the hole and the water flow will be back to normal.
Puzzle 3
- There are 2 types of water in the game, the brown bowls at the top of the waterfall fetches fresh water while the bottom of the waterfall fetches salt water.
- Drop a villager on one of the brown bowls to collect water for the pot.
- Drop another villager to get a rock from beside the stairs to the research lab and it will place the rock at the fire.
- Once the rock has turned red, drop a villager to collect the hot rock and he/she will bring it to the pot.
Puzzle 4
- Use a child to collect three of the white flowers located at the base of the bridge to the lab (if you hover over, it should says “soapy smelling” plant) and bring them to the lab. The child will place the flowers on the lab table.
- Prepare a boiling water with salt water (refer puzzle 3)
- Drop a villager on the flowers on the lab table to add it into the pot of boiling water.
- When the water disappears from the pot, drop a villager on it and he/she will make the soap
Puzzle 5
- Several hours after Puzzle 2 is solved, a plant which is located below the blackberry bush that was dry before has turn green.
- Drop a villager on the plant to cut the leaves and he/she will be covered in sap and the butterflies will appear around the villager.
- Move the villager slowly with the butterflies to the Big Tree and drop he/she there.
- The villager will wipe the sap on the Tree and the butterflies will stay at the Tree.
Puzzle 6
- You must complete Puzzle 2 to solve this puzzle.
- When it rains and the puddles will appear at the little pond to the right of the stairs which you should be able to see the frogs jumping around.
- Drop your villagers in it (about 6 times) to catch the frogs and they will move them up to the stream.
Puzzle 7
- Requires level 2 construction.
- Drop your builders to remove the rocks at the area covered with rocks near the 2 palm trees with yellow fruits located at the bottom of the screen.
- Once the rocks are removed, get your villagers to make hot rocks (refer to Puzzle 3) to put it into the pit.
- You need 4 hot rocks in the pit and they will turn cold so try to get another villager to standby to place the rock at the fire once another villager has lifted the hot rock from the fire.
- After you have the 4 hot rocks in the pit, drop a villager to the banana tree located between the blackberry bush and the bridge to the lab to place the leaves on the pit.
- Once the pit is covered with banana leaves, drop a farmer at the palm trees with yellow fruits to collect the fruits and cook it in the pit.
Puzzle 8
- Requires level 2 science and a clothing hut built
- Drop your villager on the pulpy vines growing on the clift wall to the left of the staircase. He/she will go to the lab, get a cutting tool to cut the vine and bring 3 back to the lab.
- Prepare a boiling water with salt water (refer to Puzzle 3)
- Once the pot is ready, drop a villager on the vines on the lab table to put it into the pot.
- After the “cooking” is done, drop a villager on the pot to pour the pulp out on a flat rock by the sea.
- Keep dropping your villagers on the pulp to make the cloth for the hut.
Puzzle 9
- Requires Level 3 learning
- You will be able to build the nursery after you have gotten level 3 learning.
- After you completed building the nursery, drop a villager to teach the children.
Puzzle 10
- Requires Puzzle 12 to be completed first.
- Once you have your fishing nets in place, you will see a red crab moving around on the beach on the right of the staircase by the clift.
- Standby 2 children to wait for the red crab to appear. Drop a child on the red crab once it appears and drop the other child quickly to keep the red crab on the surface.
- Drop an adult on the red crab to bring it to mossy stones beneath the pool and it will clear 1 of the mossy stones.
- Repeat the steps to clear the rest of the stones and after all are cleared, drop a villager on it to hear the story of the Tree.
Puzzle 11
- Requires Puzzle 12 to be completed first.
- For some, this puzzle is rather difficult to complete so you might end up doing it a few times before you get it correct.
- Get the children to collect the herbs first for the stew – yellow(sweet), red(spicy) and white(soapy) herb
- Make sure your food bin now consist of the following food resources – mushrooms, fish, cooked yellow fruits and berries.
- Prepare your boiling water with fresh water. (Do standby another rock at the fire just in case your stew turns cold)
- Drop a villager on the herbs on the table to add in the stew, once you have added all 3 herbs.
- Drop the villager on the pot and it will says that it need something nutricious, drop your villager on the food bin to put the food in the pot.
- If it still comes up as “unfinished stew”, just drop your villager on the food bin again.
*For some reason, I manage to complete this puzzle this way so if it doesn’t work for you, you have to refer to another method here.
Puzzle 12
- Requires Puzzle 8 to be completed first and level 2 construction
- Drop your builder on the dock to start, make sure you have cloth bolts ready in the clothing hut while your builders are repairing the fish nets.
- Keep dropping your builder on the dock until the nets are repaired, have your other villagers to make more cloth while the fish nets are being repaired.
- Once the fish nets are repaired, drop farmers onto the dock to retrieve the fish.
Puzzle 13
- Requires Level 2 dendrology
- Drop a villager on the diseased branch of the tree, he/she will get a cloth to bind the branch.
- After the branch is binded, drop a villager on the cutting tools in the lab and it will use it to remove the branch.
- Finally after it has been removed, drop a villager on the soap in the lab to clean it up.
Puzzle 14
- Requires Level 2 dendrology
- Prepare a stew with fresh water with 3 yellow (sweet) herbs and add food from the food bin to complete the stew.
- Drop at least 20 villagers on the stew and they will take it to the tree to honor the tree.
Puzzle 15
- Requires Level 3 dendrology
- Start a lesson at the nursery so that all the children will be kept away.
- Pick a villager preferably one without parenting attributes, place it at an area at the flutes to have him/her start meditating. (Make sure all the kids are away and no other villagers are near so that they can’t interrupt him/her)
- Get another villager to prepare a soapy bath for the villager that is meditating by dropping the villager on the soap rack.
- Once your villager has finished meditation which you can see with yellow dots on the head, drop your villager in the soapy pool of water.
- Your villager will now be sparkling in gold and white after finishing the bath, drag and drop the villager at the base of the Tree.
- Your villager will bring a bug out from the Tree to the fire and the Tree will be purified.
Puzzle 16
- Requires Level 3 dendrology
- Drop a villager onto 1 of the 3 boxes of old braids at the lab just beneath the main table. He/she will take the braid out to the same stone that manufacture cloth.
- Drop a villager on the braid to repair it and after it is done, you have to wait for the hummingbird to show up.
- When the hummingbird appears, follow it and see which flower it stops at.
- Standby your children and drop them on the flower once the hummingbird flies away to pick the flowers.
- You need to pick at least 6-7 flowers for the braid to make it into a lei to decorate the tree.
- Repeat the entire process 2 more times to have 3 leis/garlands on the Tree.
