Many years ago, a mysterious tycoon started BigCo and became the dominant ice cream maker. Since that time, all who have tried to contend with BigCo have failed. Armed only with an old ice cream truck and the wisdom of her grandma, Anna will try to defy the odds. Guide Anna through challenges from fickle business owners around town, earning respect, cash, special truck upgrades, and even ice cream stands that make money on their own. Serve up the sweet treat that beats the heat in this delicious, quick-clicking adventure. A mysterious company called BigCo has taken over, but Anna is ready with her ice cream truck to take back the town one cone at a time with her delicious custom cones.

Don’t the name and the screenshots look familiar? Yup, this game was created by GameFools, the same company that has brought you the first game “Ice Cream Craze”. This time round you will not be playing game through levels in a sequence, you will be given a choice to choose your own challenges to build up your ice cream empire.( I tried this game out at Real Arcade evaluations, not sure if the beta testing is still open, but you can always try.)

For the challenges, you have to use the cash you accumulated through daily cash collection in order to play them for exchange of special upgrades like flooring, wallpaper, decoration for your truck or even equipment upgrades in your ice cream truck. One important point to take note is that if you fail the challenge, the cash will still be deducted. No worries on that as they offer free cash challenges for you to regain back the cash that you lost in a challenge. My best advice is to play the set-up stands or upgrade stands challenges so that you can still earn some cash while playing other challenges.

If you have played Ice Cream Craze before, you will be quite familiar with the store front operations.  As usual you have to complete the customer’s ice cream order and collect the cash before it disappears from the counter. If you make a mistake after placing the topping, you can “recycle” back the ice cream by clicking on the bin and it will appear on the belt again. The thing is if you use the bin, they will deduct the energy bar which is located at the top of the screen where all leftover energy will be used to boost your cash collection of the day. One tip is that you don’t have to recycle the wrong order as long as you have not place the topping on it, just click on the empty plates to reuse them again.

Overall, everything is quite okay with the game, but since I played the first series before and I find this game slightly repetitive. Especially at the store front operations so I didn’t complete the full testing as I was a bit bored by it. (Or perhaps I’ve been playing too much recently?
