G.H.O.S.T. Chronicles - Phantom of the Renaissance Faire

In G.H.O.S.T. Chronicles: Phantom of the Renaissance Faire, you are a ghost hunter asked to determine the cause of the haunting at the Spear’s Renaissance Faire park.

The Spear family has recently undergone personal tragedy and a surprising park ownership take-over. The rumor of a vengeful ghost that has damaged attractions, vandalized shops and perpetrated other disturbing events has driven away the park patrons. Many of the vendors have abandoned their shops and the remaining vendors fear the park will close if the situation is not resolved soon. Your task is to inspect the park to determine if this is indeed ghostly activity or just a cruel and disastrous hoax. Either way, it is up to you to find out who is behind the haunting at the Renaissance Faire.

   I actually really enjoyed this quirky little hidden object/puzzle game. The animated characters added an extra touch, and I liked the style of puzzles too. Good story and graphics and one I would purchase.

   PROS: The concept of this game is not your typical ’seek and find’ h.o.g. In most of the scenes, you have to locate certain invetory items which are then used in either the scene you’re currently searching, or most often in a different scene. Also, the graphics of this game were phenominal.

   CONS: There was an extreme lack of instruction to the player, particularly in many of the scenes that did not require the player to actually find objects from a list. In these scenes, I found myself very uncertain as to what I was supposed to do or what I was supposed to find. Big disappointment.

   fun, nice graphics but frustrating at times due to lack of instruction.
