Be like a writer in a lonely library and test the speed of your fingers! Type the falling words as fast as you can before they reach the ground. Earn bonuses for typing words without making mistakes.

Earn special books to help you during gameplay:

• Fire book (Red) - Type fire to burn all the words
• Ice Book (Cyan or Light Blue) - Type ice to freeze all the words
• Slow Book (Yellow) - Type slow to slow down all the words
• Wind Book (Purple or Dark Blue)  - Type wind to renew your life by clearing part of the fallen words pile
• Extra Score Book (Dark Grey) - Aim for these books to get more score and to level up faster

I’m never good in such games because of the “fat” fingers I have, I will surely make lots of typo errors. But after watching my colleagues competing with each other during the week, I was very tempted to see how bad I score if I play it on weekends. (Not that I’m hardworking during office hours, it’s just that I’m pretty tied up with my job for the week so I did not attempt to play at work! LOL!) Although I can’t type well and fast enough most of the time but I still managed to beat most of my colleagues at the game except the reputed typing expert in my company which I’m just a little behind her score! Yeah! So I’m not that bad afterall!

Typing Maniac is a very straight forward game, all you have to do is to type the words that is falling from the top of the screen. Every correct word goes to the bar for your quota for the level. Finish filling up the bar and you will advance to the next level. As for every word that you missed will end up falling to the floor and once it reaches a pile of 100%, your game is over. Take note not to press enter if there’s a typo error for the word as it will increase the falling speed of the word. Try to get all the special color words fast to stock up on your bonus and also to pass the level fast. Normally I will use fire if all the words are normal as I don’t see a point to get stressed over it when they don’t help me as much as the words in dark grey do. But when there’s a lot of bonus at one time, I will use ice to freeze them so that I can stock up for the bonus I want to get.

Amazingly this game spreads like wildfire, there were only 5000+ users early this week and the next thing I know, there are about 1m over users for it. I guess everyone really enjoys playing games that are competitive!
