Guide our yellow friend through the different paths of the mazes eating all the pills you find. But be careful with the ghosts! They are watching all the paths and are willing to make you stop no matter how much it takes.

I can’t believe that Jasmine freaked out when we requested her to do a review for this Facebook Game - Waka-Waka. After much persuasion, she decided to demonstrate once for us on my laptop on why she wouldn’t play it. Hahaha! For such an expert on time management games, the 1 who was able to finish the whole Youda Sushi game without even retrying a level when all of us struggled with it, I can’t believe that she couldn’t play well with directional buttons! No wonder she doesn’t play Maple Story at all when all of us were so caught up with it previously. Don’t worry Jas, you’re still the little princess in our eyes even though you can’t handle the directional buttons! So much for laughing, guess that’s why I’m here tonight. Okay Jasmine, you have another night off, rest well and good luck to the hidden object game that you have just received.

Waka-Waka is a Pac-Man game that is currently quite popular around most of our friends right now on Facebook. The purpose of the game still remains the same where you have to eat/collect all the dots and avoiding all the ghosts in order to complete the level. As usual there will be 4 larger dots at each corner for you to turn those pesky ghosts into pale ones where you can turn around and eat them back. On top of that, if you invite your friends to play or by publishing your results, you get to win a projectile which you can fire towards a ghost using your spacebar to send the ghost back to its home base at the center.

There are a few items that you can pick up along the way, taking the fruits will give you extra points for the levels, lightning that can give you a boost of speed for a short time, megaphone temporarily stuns the ghosts and the ice cubes freezes the ghosts for a few seconds. The best way to rake up your points is to successfully devour all 4 ghosts at 1 time as it gives you a big increase of 12,000 points!

Waka-Waka is a very nice game to pass your time and highly recommended for those who love playing Pac-Man Games. For once you can try to compete with all your friends and the rest of the world and see who is the best in it!

PC Games - Plants vs. Zombies

PC Games - Plants vs. Zombies

Get ready to soil your plants! A mob of fun-loving zombies are invading your home, and your only defense is your arsenal of 49 zombie-zapping plants. Use peashooters, wall-nuts, cherry bombs and more to slow down, confuse, weaken and mulchify 26 types of zombies before they can reach your front door. As you battle the fun-dead, obstacles like a setting sun, creeping fog and a swimming pool add to the challenge. And with five game modes to dig into, the fun never dies!

  • Play Five Game Modes!
  • Browse Crazy Dave’s Shop for Special Plants and Tools!
  • Battle 26 Types Of Zombies!
  • Never the Same Game Experience Twice!

I don’t normally play tower defense games as I’m really bad at such games. I can’t seem to keep up fast enough to stop the attacks most of the time. But this game really exceeds my expectations and gives my perception of tower defense game a whole new view!  I never expect this game could be so fun and addictive. Even though I did restart certain levels a few times but it wasn’t that bad that I will give up playing. In fact, it makes me more competitive.

Exactly as how game is described, your goal is to defend your home against a mob of zombies. In order to stop them, you have to strategize and plant the flowers or plants to help you keep them off your lawn. To do that, you need to have sunlight to grow the plants as you map out where you want to place them for an extra edge in keeping the persistent zombies off. Thankfully for every start of the level is pretty slow so that you can build up your resources while you keep track of each lone zombie that tries to get into your home.

As you progress into the game, you get to choose which plants that you want to use and collect coins to get upgrades for extra slots or special weapons from your neighbour known as Crazy Dave.  There are many different plants or flowers available for you to choose from and yes, you can’t bring everything with you. So make sure you do include sunflowers or plants that regenerate sunlight even in the night in your slot or you will have difficulty in completing the level. With proper planning and making use of the resources available, it isn’t that difficult to breeze through the first few levels.

With the wide variety of gameplay styles, 50 levels in the adventure mode and other modes that will be unlocked later in the game, nicely animated zombies and addictive gameplay,  this game is definitely not to be missed.

Rating: ★★★★½

PC Games - Elf Bowling Hawaiian Vacation

PC Games - Elf Bowling Hawaiian Vacation

If you thought Santa’s elves were crazy before, just wait until you see them on vacation! The zany crew has escaped from the workshop to hit the sand and surf in Hawaii. Grab your sunscreen and flip flops, these elves mean business—funny business that is!

  • 10 characters and 19 bowling balls to choose from
  • Four crazy play modes
  • Cool power-ups and dirty tricks to collect on each lane
  • Five single player modes and three multiplayer modes
  • All-new insults and one-liners from those crazy elves

Have you ever have the feeling that you don’t feel like playing hidden object games or even time management games and yet you feel like thrashing something? Well… let me recommend you this game which I always follow and keeps on my laptop. This is one game that I normally play whenever I feel a little moody.

Yup, this is a bowling game but instead of hitting pins, you’ll be hitting elves instead. Sounds wicked? I would say nope, that’s depending on how you view the situation. For me when I get pretty moody sometimes, I will treat those elves as unhappy thoughts and use the bowling ball to hit them all away. Perhaps it doesn’t really solve any real life problems but I always believe that once your mood gets better, you tend to think better too!

For beginners, pick a starting position, left-click and hold while to set throw power then use the mouse to control the direction of your ball as it goes down the lane. Of course, there will be certain elements to hinder your perfect bowl but that’s what makes it really entertaining. There are a couple of interesting bonuses or power-ups you can use to score your perfect bowl. And what’s more interesting is that you will enjoy the elves’ reactions. Especially when you see them hop, shiver with terror or even make funny remarks. All in all, I still find this game pretty amusing even though it’s feels and sounds the same like the previous series. As long as it still keeps me entertained, I can live with the similarities.
