Something’s not right in DinerTown™! Help Bernie the Bookworm become a “real detective” as you hunt for vital clues in major mysteries like “who stuck their finger in all the jelly donuts?” and “who’s been partying like a rock star with the zoo animals?” Use the items you find in the crime scenes to narrow your list of suspects and ID the culprits as you search out the fun in this lighthearted spoof on traditional hidden object games.

  • Explore 20 locations throughout DinerTown in your search for clues
  • Investigate all the familiar DinerToons™ – you never know who might be a suspect!

Another great upcoming game by PlayFirst which is a hidden objects game featuring the characters from DinerTown. This time Bernie the Bookworm (yes, the 1 that u see at Diner Dash) will become a detective with Flo’s help to uncover the mysteries at DinerTown.

As you can see from the main menu, you have a choice of Story mode or Freeplay mode. Well… since this game is still in beta, I guess I won’t be able to unlock the Freeplay mode yet. Once you click on the Story mode, you can choose to play it in Timed or Untimed. After a brief storyline to the game, you are brought to the map where you can choose the case that you wanna work on.

There’s 3 steps involved in completion of each case, firstly is the search crime scene where you need to find the particular items that is listed. Secondly, you are supposed to narrow down the suspects which require you to play a mini puzzle. Don’t worry, it’s pretty easy. (At least it’s easy at the moment) Lastly, to pinpoint the suspect, you have to go through a number of testimonials or comments by the suspect’s friends to find the actual culprit.

Overall I feel this is a very nice game and I really like it very much. Unfortunately, this game will only be released in June and the date isn’t confirmed yet. But no worries, as a great fan of PlayFirst games, we will watch and will update the moment it is released.

*Don’t forget tomorrow is Monday and there will be a cool beta game up for our dear subscribers. So do remember to check your email tomorrow. The game is going to be pretty large but it’s definitely worth it.

*For those who are intending to submit your entries for the Pet Society giveaway, do remember to state what you will like to have as your prizes if you are the lucky 1.

PC Games – Flower Paradise

Flower Paradise is brought to by Fugazo, Inc. the very same developers that had brought you Fashion Fits, FishCo and the Cooking Academy series. This is a different type of match 3 game where you have to turn the patch of dirt to grass by collecting flowers to create rectangles with 4 corners of the rectangle to have the same type of flower.

Every end of the level lets you collect cash to buy different flowers, animals and decorations for your garden. Extra coins will be given during the gameplay when you make a match with more than 20 flowers in the rectangle. There are different power-ups available like the spade which helps you collect flowers in a cross pattern.

I’m not sure is it because I’m running on a Vista that’s why the game couldn’t work properly. I realised that the game will stop running whenever the orange-yellow tulips turn up during the game, but it will be perfectly fine if other flowers turn up. Don’t worry if you haven’t save the game due to the error because the game actually auto-saves itself so you can start playing it at the same point where you left the game. Once you have created your perfect garden, you can choose to turn it into wallpaper or even an animated screensaver.
